Continuing Education Center / University of Technology organized a free course entitled "Correctness of the Arabic Language and Common Errors" on Sunday (October 20-24, 2024) in the Continuing Education Center hall.

The course covered linguistic culture in Arabic, common errors, Arabic grammar, the proper usage of hamzah, as well as spelling in Arabic.

The aim of the course is to provide participants with cultural knowledge about the Arabic language, address spelling errors, and highlight significant linguistic differences.

The course was delivered by Dr. Abdullah Gaith Nafal from  Continuing Education Center / University of Technology.

 Continuing Education Center/ University of Technology organized a seminar entitled "Network Automation" on Tuesday (October 22, 2024) in the Continuing Education Center hall . the seminar was delivered for the university's staff.

The seminar included an introduction to network automation, highlighting the main challenges facing Network management, SDN Networks, What is NFV ?, Machine learning in Networks, and the steps to build a dedicated lab for implementing Network Automation.

The main aim of the seminar is to provide a general understanding of Network Automation and how Networks can manage themselves automatically, in addition to focusing on key concepts related to Network Automation, such as SDN and NFV, and explaining how to build a dedicated lab to apply the principles of Network Automation based on the new architecture.

The seminar was presented by trainer Asst. Lecturer Munther Numan from the Graduate Studies Department.

The Continuous Education Center at the University of Technology hosted training courses for employees who were appointed in the first phase of the fifteenth batch, as well as followed up on the training of trainees from the second phase. The training was attended by 90 trainees from Baghdad Governorate's municipalities, in accordance with the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia'a Al-Sudani and under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The course lasted for a full week from October 20-23, 2024. This course is considered one of the most effective training courses as it provides a set of professional skills under the title "Organizational Behavior and Institutional Loyalty

The Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, followed up on the implementation of the course, emphasizing that this course aims to enhance optimal behavior among trainees. She commended the efforts of the university and the staff of the Continuing Education Center, which hosted them for a week and provided all the necessary requirements for the successful implementation of this distinguished project. The Continuous Education Center at the University of Technology, in coordination with the Publishing and Outreach Department of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, organized a two-day training workshop titled "International, Regional, and National Protection Mechanisms in Iraq" on October 16-17, 2024, held at the Continuous Education Center Hall. The workshop was attended by the Vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman.

The workshop aims to explore the origins and evolution of human rights, fundamental principles, human values and characteristics, as well as international protection mechanisms, treaty-based and non-treaty-based mechanisms, national protection mechanisms, the judiciary, legislative bodies, and institutions concerned with the protection of human rights. Trainers Ali Saleh Alawi and Ali Hassan Hamza delivered the lectures. At the end, there was a question and answer session for participants.
