The Continuous Education Center at the University of Technology has commenced delivering the third module, "Measurement and Feedback," of the Updated Learning Teaching Methods project. This project, which started on September 16, 2024, and will continue until December 8, 2024, involves 148 postgraduate degree holders (Ph.D. and Master's) distributed across the center's halls and university departments.
Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adnan Abdul Jabbar, the Director of the Continuous Education Center, announced that the University of Technology has launched six new academic programs in the fields of medicine, engineering, applied sciences, education, humanities, and administration. He highlighted that the course is open to staff from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (both government and private universities), the Ministry of Education, the Police College of the Ministry of Interior, and the Sunni and Shia endowments.
This course aims to equip participants with a range of presentation, public speaking, instructional design, and feedback provision skills. It also explores modern teaching strategies, educational ethics, quality, and research methodologies. It is worth noting that the center will be organizing another course in December 2024 with the participation of specialized trainers certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
